Hello, how are you mushroom lovers and have a nice day and happy new year 2023, and it doesn't realize that it's Friday again and I'm back again preparing two beautiful and unique mushrooms to post on the #FungiFriday Community hosted by today, and best wishes mushrooms it's better than before.
As usual yesterday I went back to the oil palm plantation area because there were so many mushrooms growing there especially during the rainy season there will be lots of mushrooms growing in this oil palm plantation which is in the next village, especially today is Friday so I prepared two beautiful and unique mushroom to be displayed in this community.
And these two mushrooms are known by other names, namely Neofavolus alveolaris and Peziza and you can see below some portraits of the two mushroom species that I met in the oil palm plantation yesterday afternoon.
šššššššššššššššš
The first thing I encountered was the Neofavolus alveolaris mushroom which grows on dead oil palm trees and has a rather small body shape and has a porous shape that looks very beautiful and unique, because this mushroom has a very beautiful and unique characteristic shape elegant starting from the bright color and has its own charm.
Neofavolus alveolaris is a species of polypore fungus in the family Polyporaceae. It is widely distributed in the temperate areas of the Northern Hemisphere.....Wikipedia
And below are some of these Neofavolus alveolaris mushrooms that I have edited the background with black which looks very beautiful and attractive and I hope you guys like it.
The last one is the Peziza mushroom which grows on the outskirts of the oil palm trees on the ground and its shape is almost like a cup with a slightly brown and yellow color which looks very bright, and this mushroom thrives on the ground and at that time I immediately took some portrait pictures of this mushroom and hope you guys like it.
Peziza is a large genus of saprophytic cup fungi that grow on the ground, rotting wood, or dung. Most members of this genus are of unknown edibility and are difficult to identify as separate species without use of microscopy.....Wikipedia
