So, I consider my project with mushrooms completed. Of course, they will continue to grow in their boxes and maybe sometimes I will write about it, but the main goal has been achieved - I did it!
Here's the whole process - from reading the instructions to real mushrooms. There's nothing complicated about it.
I opened the box with mycelium, sprinkled it with water and put it in a warm room. Gradually, the mycelium covered the entire surface of the soil with a white web.
After a while, tiny balls appeared - my first mushrooms were growing.
It must be said that compared to the period of mycelium growth, the mushroom growth period is very short. The mushroom reaches its optimal size in five days. Of course, you can grow a huge mushroom, but it is unlikely that you will find it tasty. However, for the experiment, I did this as well. You can see the result in the first photo.
I would also like to add that mycelium of different mushrooms is now on sale. But you can't grow wild mushrooms so easily, because they are often associated with the root system of trees. Therefore, for home experiments, I advise you to choose reliable and simple mushrooms.
