Hello Fungi Friday Lovers, wherever you are in all corners of the earth, it's friday and means a challenge to follow fungi friday with host .
I really like mushrooms because of their unique shape and definitely not "cheap",mushrooms can't grow anywhere, they really like humid places with little sun. Besides that, there are some mushrooms that are very delicious in taste, in my area there are some mushrooms that always grow naturally such as edible mushroom (Volvariella volvacea) which grows from rotting rice straw, several types of soil mushrooms (Boletus edulis) or we usually call them mushrooms west because it grows following the wind that blows towards the west, this fungus grows in very moist soil, gritty fungus (Shizophyllum commune) which usually grows on old wood trees (mostly grows on rubber tree wood) and cultivated mushrooms, namely oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus).

Last week, I walked to the Telaga forest, which is located in the Bukit Barisan Forest area, on the border between Langkat Regency and Karo Regency in North Sumatra Province, in search of delicious forest raspberries. I found several types of mushrooms that are unique (in my opinion) because I have never seen this type of mushroom in the area where I live (I live in Binjai City).as additional information, the lake forest has various types of plants with a dense forest canopy so that the soil becomes very moist and humus.
some types of mushrooms that I encountered in the lake forest are :
๐ Hygrocbe reidii
the first mushroom I found was an orange mushroom covered by shrubs, this fungus grows on a moist soil surface filled with rotting leaves and some of it becomes compost, the entire body of the mushroom is orange and on the mushroom hood there is a hole in the middle, the sides of the hood are a bit jagged and uneven, but that's what makes it beautiful.
๐Polypores
the second mushroom I encountered was a brown/black mushroom with a large hood, this mushroom grows on rotting wood trees. it looks like it's a type of Polypores mushroom (but I doubt it), can anyone tell me what kind of mushroom it is? This is the first time I have seen a black fungus with a strong and large hood, when I found it on a rotting wood tree, this fungus did not colonize.
๐ Ganoderma lucidum
The next mushroom I found was an orange mushroom with a hard but shiny texture, this mushroom is orange with a white border on the edge of the hood. This fungus grows in colonies. This mushroom is known as a mushroom with many benefits, especially for treating cancer and tumors. This mushroom is also called Lingzhi mushroom.
๐ Russula
Next I found a mushroom with a light purple hood with white edges.I found this fungus on very moist soil and it was almost covered by rotting leaves.
Thus the photos that I managed to get "accidentally" from my trip in the lake forest located in Bukit Barisan.
all photos i take with iphone 7 plus camera.
