It was a warm February day this week and that motivated me to go to the forest. Besides the beautiful flowers there, in the shade of the tall trees I also found several types of mushrooms. Here they are:
The first one I found was the Scarlet elf cup.
It was barely visible among the fallen leaves of the deciduous trees, but its bright red color betrayed its presence. It has such an interesting shape and such an interesting function - to help decompose dead wood and thus participate in maintaining the forest cycle.
I found this mushroom in several places.
This mushroom was very interesting and was on a rock formation covered with moss.
I saw many mushrooms on the bark of the trees.
And these mushrooms I found among the fallen leaves of the trees - they were a whole group united together.
