Today, we had the pleasure of visiting the Royal Albert Hall in London to watch the "Cirque du Soleil" and it was absolutely lovely. This year's show was called Allegria, the music was amazing, and the performance was awe-inspiring. We had previously watched their show Kurios (Cabinet of curiosities) last year (in London) and have been fans ever since we saw them in Las Vegas. Kurios was a little geeky (love that) while Allegria was a little more on the classical side, a perfect fit for the Royal Albert Hall. I have read that Allegria was one of Cirque's early shows, premiered in 1994, however am pretty sure that the combination of Cirque and the Royal Albert Hall make this the perfect match. During the show they had a very good play with "snow" where they have managed to create a very great "stormy" effect, where they've managed to fill the entire hall with tiny little pieces of paper. (Don't envy the cleaners...)
Have you been to one of their shows before? Below you can find a few photos from my side.
