Beef Haleem
Recipe..
Beef with bones and fat 1 1/2 kg
Masoor dal 1/2 cup
Mong dal 1/4 cup
Chana dal 1/2 cup
Gayhun 1/2 cup
Jaw 1/2 cup
Mash dal 1/4 cup
Salt according to taste
Red chilli powder 3-4 tbsp
Haldee 2 tsp
Kashmiri mirch 1tbsp
Bay leaf 5-6
Cumin 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Oil 1/2 cup
Zeera powder 1/2tsp
Cumin powder1/2tsp
Onion 1 large size
Garam masala powder 1 tbsp(i made garam masala powder at home, and put all the garam masalas, so no need to put separately)
Soak all the pulses & grains for 3-4 hours..
In a pan add oil.. Now fry onions in it..until golden brown,
Add ginger garlic paste in it and fry for a while..
Add in beef..and fry until color change .
Add salt,red chilli powder 2 tbsp
Haldee 1/2 tbsp ,garam masala 1/2 tbsp
Add 4-5 cups of water and cook until beef is tender..now take out bones and fat..
Shred the beef and take aside
In a big pot ,add all the pulses and grains..
Add a large amount of water..
Add salt,red chilli powder 2 tbsp, haldee 1 tsp
,kashmiri mirch 1 tbsp, garam masala 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
And cook until all the pulses and grains are done.. Take out bay leaves..
Add beef and its gravy..and cook for 15-20 mins.. Ghotofy it well or u can alse blend it with hand blender..
Once done ,,serve with fried onions, lemon, chillies, ginger and chaat masala..
