If I had to choose between coffee or spirits, as we call alcoholic beverages in Venezuela, the choice for me would be easy. I would give up alcoholic beverages, the reasons or motives that would lead me to make this decision, I will undoubtedly explain them below.
Although it is already known that I do not drink coffee since always, I have not been a big alcohol drinker either. I do it very little, on special occasions and/or in the company of certain people with whom I feel I can have a drink without risking any consequences.
Now, the reasons why it would be easier for me to give up alcohol are, first I only tolerate or enjoy certain drinks such as Vodka and Whisky, preferring or leaning more towards Whisky and not any brand, my favorite is Dimple 18 years, so being an expensive drink and also, on the other hand, I understand that this drink can affect my blood pressure and I prefer to avoid (I have not investigated in depth how true it is).

Many will say that there are cheaper and more accessible versions of alcoholic beverages such as beer, but to be honest, I can't stand the taste of this popular drink, I find it just horrible, I don't like it, plus after drinking even one, I start to burp, it's horrible, maybe it's because of the barley or what do I know.
So without a doubt I would continue drinking my coffee, happy and calm with my breakfast in the afternoons after returning from the office while talking with my husband or looking out the window at the trees and all the beauty of nature that surrounds me or maybe just sitting on the couch enjoying how my cats receive me if I have been away from home working.

Although now that I think about it, if I visit one of those interesting coffee shops one gets along the way, one might accidentally order some coffee with alcohol.
In short, if I had to give up or choose between giving up coffee or alcoholic beverages I would definitely give up alcoholic beverages, thus ends my participation in #STB 71.
