Greetings Cinnamon Cup Coffee community.
Ever since my first experience of espresso coffee at Oh My Beans Coffee shop,
Location : 1 Lockies Lane, Florida lake, South Africa, it altered my perception and understanding of the nature coffee.

Today we compare the characteristics of different household coffees, side by side.
Upon first impression , I noticed a difference between the granules sizes of the dissolvable coffee. Jacobs tends to have larger granules while Nescafe has finer granules.
Nescafe Classic appears slightly darker than Jacobs Kronung and Jacobs Gold
Jacobs Gold
Background:
Jacobs is a brand of coffee that traces its beginnings to 1895 in Germany by Johann Jacobs (1869 in Borgfeld, Bremen – 1958 in Bremen)
He opened a coffee and tea shop in Bremen, Germany, in 1895.
General notes
Smooth , mild
Less strength/intensity
I have had this coffee for quite a couple of months and it is important to remember that freshness does play a vital role in the taste of the coffee. The layer of top crema upon pouring hot water is barely noticeable - this shows that the coffee is a little matured. Fresh coffee improves the experience.
Tongue area of flavor :
Front of mouth , sides of tongue , medium roasted coffee tends to be very flavorsome and complex with less strength
Aftertaste :
Smooth , Lingering after taste at the back of the tongue
Nescafe Classic
Background
After seven years of development by chemist Dr. Max Morgenthaler, NESCAFÉ was born. The beverage was introduced to the world on 1 April 1938. This was during the Second World War. It became the staple beverage of the US armed forces.
General notes :
Aroma with slight sweet & acidic notes
A vibisibly present layer of crema begins to form upon pouring hot water. This shows that the coffee is still relatively fresh. There is a link between finer ground coffee and acidity.
Tongue area of flavor
Wholesome and full flavor
Aftertaste
A bold aromatic aftertaste
Jacobs Krönung
Background:
The taste and aroma of Jacobs coffee brand today carry the inspiration of its creator Johann Jacobs. He opened a coffee and tea shop in Bremen, Germany, in 1895.
General notes
Full bodied and bold , with hints of smoke . pungent intense coffee taste.
A layer of crema is visibly noticeable, this is an indication of the freshness of the coffee.
Tongue area of flavor
Tip of tongue and back of the mouth, minimal acidity .
Aftertaste
Intense and smokey.
Every Coffee is a unique experience, with different methods & techniques having an effect on the end product.
