Today, my morning started again with Simple Coffee, but at a different location, located on the ground floor of a business center near the river. For me, this was a new strategic choice, one brimming with energy, a good atmosphere, and a creative atmosphere.
Walking inside, I heard the familiar hiss of a coffee machine, hushed conversations about deals, and the flickering of laptop screens. This time, I decided to get a cappuccino. My barista was Mark. While he frothed milk, I took my table by the window. The view was fantastic: the river, illuminated by the sun, and the bridge itself on the horizon with business centers opposite.
A few minutes later, Mark brought me my cappuccino in a cup. But the first sip was tart, with a milky aftertaste. It was as if my brain had received the signal, "The workday has begun. Time to get going." I had already opened my laptop; it was time to get to work. My task tracker was already open with a to-do list, where correspondence with a client and a rough draft were already waiting. Time here certainly didn't flow in fits and starts like in the office, nor as lazily as at home, but in a steady stream.
I spent a full five hours here today. It continues to be a source of inspiration for me, allowing me to organize my thoughts and complete my tasks more quickly.
This week I plan to visit several more new locations of this establishment in my city.
