Hey everyone, I haven't been on this community for a while, but I wanted to share some new stories from my life again. So I decided to start posting them here again.
Today, I decided to stop by my favorite coffee shop, Simple Coffee, during my lunch break on a warm autumn day. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a short-haired barista right at the entrance. She stood behind the counter in the warm light, tapping the register, very focused. I decided to order a large classic cappuccino with a coconut protein bar.
While waiting for my order, I approached a small wooden table by the window, where the sun's warmth was gathering. I arrived just after breakfast, when the place was less crowded, so I could sit quietly and undisturbed, where I wouldn't be distracted by a large crowd. When my drink arrived, the barista drew a delicate heart in the foam, like a message addressed to me.
The atmosphere was calm, with quiet conversations emanating from the far tables. As I sat there, the café gradually filled with bright sunlight, and a small group of people gathered at the counter, quietly discussing something.
Of course, I decided to top it off with my candy bar and linger a little longer, jotting down my schedule for the new week in my diary. For me, it was one of those difficult starts to the day, those days you don't plan, but simply come to your senses. A sunny autumn day, a warm cappuccino, a bit of silence, and a friendly greeting at the door. Nothing special, it seemed, but exactly what I needed.
Lately, I've been frequenting coffee shops, but my favorite is Simple Coffee. There are about 25 of them in our city. I always plan to try a new place if I'm in that area. Tomorrow I'll try to share with you a new place in my favorite city.
See you soon.
