Hello, hello, my dear coffee-loving friends. I hope you are feeling well and that you have enjoyed these days of Christmas in the warmth of home, with lots of family affection and delicious food.
After days of hard work and the enjoyment of Christmas Eve, sharing, dinner and gifts, we all need a boost to get back to reality, regain energy and resume the daily routine. And what better way to do it than with a good coffee and a piece of cake? I did it!
Today, after a well-deserved rest, we went back to work, opened our business, but not many customers arrived. This is to be expected these days, as Bogotá is very lonely during this season. Many leave the city to spend Christmas and New Year's Eve in their places of origin. Those who stay are not yet recovered from the holidays and are still resting. For this reason, the day was very quiet. In the midst of that unusual stillness, my body and mind clamored for a revitalizing dose of coffee to keep me on my feet and active to serve the public.
A delicious cappuccino and a piece of marbled sponge cake were my allies to renew my energy. In the first sip, the caffeine began to work its magic and woke up my mind, which was as if it was lethargic or drowsy, as my mother used to say.
Undoubtedly, it is a pleasure for the senses to have a good coffee in your hands. I love the aroma and the comforting sensation of warmth, in the middle of this cold weather in Bogota. Each sip is a stimulus to recharge my energy and an invitation to enjoy this delicious cappuccino, without rushing.
This moment of enjoyment also became a personal moment for deep reflection and to review what I had experienced, thanking for each experience.
How are you, how are you doing? Have you recharged your energies to resume your activities? How are you doing?
I invite you to enjoy a delicious, aromatic and warm cup of coffee. Cheers!
