Greetings, my dear coffee lovers. I hope you are well, healthy and enjoying the beginning of the weekend.
I am back here to share with you, another coffee place, discovered on our morning walks.
As I have shared before, one of the things I enjoy most about being in Colombia, specifically in Bogota, is going for a walk and discovering new places. Among these, beautiful parks with spaces to exercise and be in contact with nature. Also, during our walks, we have found many restaurants and cafes everywhere.
My husband and I walk around the city, holding hands, with the excitement of a child and we are thrilled by the wonders of nature that we find on our way. We rejoice when there is no fog and we can see the Monserrate mountain clear and with its beautiful greens. Bogota is a city where the dynamism of urban life contrasts with the generosity of nature, all in absolute harmony. I love being here and now!
During our Saturday walk, which is longer than the other days of the week, we found the Pasteleria y Restaurante Antonelly. Without giving it much thought, we went in to check out the place to see if we would have our eleven o'clock snack there.
Upon entering, we discovered a cozy little corner with the aroma of delicious baked goods that was the best invitation to stay.
I love having these spaces to share with my husband. We enjoy them very much, we have a good time of conversation and we give pleasure to the palate with the delicacies we taste.
After seeing the gallery of desserts in the showcases, all very tasty, to be honest, we chose the dessert milhojas. This is one of my favorite pastry desserts. I really like the textures that can be enjoyed in one bite. The softness of the cream with the crunchiness of the layers of puff pastry is quite an experience for the palate. Of course, we accompanied the dessert with our frothy coffee with milk.
Antonelly is a pastry shop that offers a wide variety of desserts at affordable prices. Most of them cost about $1.5, among them mousse of different flavors and with beautiful presentations, they also offer tiramisu, alfajores and beautifully decorated cakes. The latter can be had for as low as $10.
Also, in this place, there is a restaurant area where they offer dishes of Colombian gastronomy that we must try. So we will return once, because we were pleased with the attention and with what we ate, this time. Next, we will come back soon to have lunch with one of the exquisite dishes they offer.
Once again, we enjoyed a nice place to have a couple date, after a walk around the city.

Coffee, nectar of the gods, must be, to be good, as ardent as your eyes, as black as your hair, as pure as your soul, as sweet as your kisses. (Francisco Villaespesa).
