Dealing with any type of inflammation makes life very difficult and frustrating sometimes but another good thing is that it allows me to try so many things.
Am a fan of coffee ☕ first thing in the morning or green tea first thing in the morning but I never knew that mixing coffee and cinnamon sticks can be so soothing and delicious 😋.
Just one day I spent all night in pain, I was tired of anti-inflammatory drugs and I needed something natural to calm my pain so I just did some research about cinnamon sticks and I found out that it's very effective for inflammation so I just decided to try it with coffee ☕ and see what the result would be like.
So on boiling water at 100.c point I added two sticks of cinnamon and allowed steam for some minutes then I poured it into my coffee cup and added a sachet of coffee and stirred it up.
After a few minutes It was a little bit okay and I drank it all, just few minutes after drinking it I felt deep relief and I fell asleep.
That's weird, I always become active after taking coffee but on this occasion, I fell asleep, the mixture with the cinnamon really helped to reduce the distress pain, calm my nerves and allow me to catch some sleep after hours of staying awake .
Few days after a friend who had endometriosis was facing same crucial pain I told her to try this mixture of cinnamon and coffee, she tried it and it was really helpful.
I also discovered that this mixture helped to reduce bloating and also lots of gas in my stomach which was was as a result of the inflammation in my stomach.
I don't take it every time because I don't know the complications but a few times I have tried it, and it really helped my condition, I think anyone battling with inflammation can try it.
