Happy New Week, Hive and hello to all my caffeinated friends!
It's 12:20 am here now Tuesday Ph Time and I am thinking of making my bedtime coffee, but I thought I'd rather do it when I wake up later today in the morning. Speaking of coffee, it has literally turned into a day to day piece of my life. It 's unquestionably a part of the morning I most anticipate. I only not love because of the kick it gives, but also the manner in which it tastes. Hmmmm. The smell. The aroma. It's tempting!
I appreciate going out to have some coffee with friends sometimes, however, I definitely love it better if I make it at home. It's considerably more practical you know?
Anyway...
Last Saturday morning, my daughter and I have traveled from the lowlands up to the mountains to get some weekend breather. Their school vacation just started earlier this week and thought I should take her for a getaway.
We had a stop-over and first halted at a one of the mountain view decks on our way and took a couple of breathtaking photographs. Somewhat later from that point forward, we headed to my aunt's house where we had our lunch. The excitement started from there.
Ting ting ting ting ting!
From the gate, I could smell something magnificent. Gosh, coffee brewing! I needed to drink a cup or two or else, I'm going to throw some tantrums especially I only had 3 hours of sleep the night before that. I don't really believe that I was intellectually prepared to quit drinking coffee. If I smell it, I need to drink it. It is my emotional beverage.
So, the first thing I asked my aunt when we got off the car was if it's alright to have a cup of coffee. She said, "of course". Ain't that sweet?
I was caffeinating myself and trying to find my motivation. It wasn't in the first cup though. Maybe it'll be in the next one. I did not give up. I had to had find it eventually.
After a little chitchat with my aunt and cousins, I had to ask for another cup lol and went to their backyard garden wandering around. The 2nd cup made my day combined with the nature surrounding me, it was fantastic!
While enjoying the view outside drinking my 2nd cup hiding from the chaotic world, I saw some chirping birds (sorry I was not able to take a photo) above me and seem to find me hilarious smiling at the flowers and tress. A few moments later, I felt something fell on my head. I think they threw an acorn on me. How rude lol. At that moment, I decided to get my 3rd cup.
When I finished it, everything turned rainbows and butterflies. Silly stuff but it was worth remembering. Coffee heals!
Just thought I'd share! Cheers!
