Hello friends, lately new coffee shops have emerged in the city of many and varied styles; so it is difficult for me to choose between those I have visited and those that I know I have yet to know, to choose one and take my family and friends, who come to visit my city; but on my last trip I made to downtown, I got with a place that I had heard about, but, however, I had not approached to browse and I took a pleasant surprise and is none other than "La Cantina".
It is located in front of the popular square "El Venezolano" in its colonial area. All the buildings there have to preserve their colonial architecture and that includes all the businesses in the area and this one does not escape that condition, perhaps because it is near the birthplace of our Liberator Simon Bolivar, so it does not clash with the colonial Caracas of yesteryear. As soon as you enter, you realize that you are entering another world, between the past and the present, because they are equipped with modern equipment for the preparation of coffee and food that they also offer in the place, but in a way that does not clash with the colonial architecture.
When looking for a place to sit, you enter an interior patio typical of these large mansions, where minimalist furniture is well arranged, which does not detract from the aura of the past printed on the walls, ceilings and floors; you feel as if you had been invited to have coffee with an important character of the time ha, ha, ha, ha. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed, the service is super friendly. When they bring you the menu, they bring you wax colors along with a drawing for you to color. Very curious idea, but I thought it was great, especially if you are stressed and want to distract yourself a little or if you go with children, very ideal for it.
Besides, if you do not want to be inside they offer you to have your coffee in front of the place, where they have beautiful white furniture, simple but elegant, protected by large umbrellas that cover you from the sun or rain allowing you to admire everything around, outdoors, if you like, in my case I preferred to enter and sit inside and enjoy such a beautiful place. They offer a good variety of types of coffee and, as almost always, I ordered my coffee with milk, accompanied by a small slice of margarita pizza.
I must say that the barista did not disappoint me, as my coffee was very well presented, with a beautifully drawn leaf in the center and flavorful. It was just the right amount of coffee and milk, I enjoyed it very much. So if I have the opportunity I would love to bring my friends from Hive who live outside my city to visit this beautiful place, it is a pending promise that I hope to fulfill someday, I'm already imagining, to be able to show them part of our history and accompanied by a delicious coffee. It is the dream of all coffee lovers and they, like me, love coffee. It would be a very nice experience for everyone.
This is my participation in The CoffeeShop Prompt - Week 52, I hope you have enjoyed my tour of this beautiful coffee shop.
