En estos días andando por el centro de mi ciudad, decidí darme una pasada por la cafetería Caripe Express, la cual esta ubicada en el Centro Comercial Cumaná Plaza, un lugar muy céntrico aquí en la ciudad. Esta cafetería tiene un tiempo más o menos, no es super antigua pero si tiene 5 años ofreciendo sus servicios. El concepto de esta cafetería es completamente dedicado al café tanto en presentaciones frías como calientes, merengadas, desayunos y postres; la verdad es que tienen un concepto bien variado que acoge a sus clientes.
Yo decidí ir en la mañana, y la verdad la atención desde que pase el local fue excelente, sinceramente nunca me había tocado una atención tan especial; yo pedí saber la carta de café fríos y muy amablemente me fueron diciendo uno por uno; muchos tenían licor, y yo no soy una persona que le guste el licor así que por ello me fui por aquellos que no tenían licor. Pero la verdad es que las combinaciones eran muy exóticas y una persona que por ejemplo disfrute del licor y el café le dan ganas de tomar de todo porque todo es muy impactante.
These days walking through the center of my city, I decided to stop by the cafeteria Caripe Express, which is located in the Centro Comercial Cumaná Plaza, a very central place here in the city. This coffee shop has been around for a while, it is not super old but it has been offering its services for 5 years. The concept of this coffee shop is completely dedicated to coffee in both hot and cold presentations, meringues, breakfasts and desserts; the truth is that they have a very varied concept that welcomes their customers.
I decided to go there in the morning, and the truth is that the attention from the moment I entered the place was excellent, sincerely I had never had such a special attention; I asked to know the menu of cold coffees and very kindly they were telling me one by one; many had liquor, and I am not a person who likes liquor so I went for those that did not have liquor. But the truth is that the combinations were very exotic and a person who enjoys liquor and coffee, for example, will want to drink everything because everything is very impressive.
Mi opción a tomar fue una Merengada de Fresa y Café, que tenía: helado de fresa, samba de fresa (una chuchería venezolana); café, sirope de café y crema chantilly con decoración de chispas y samba. El costo de esto fue de 4.5$, un precio que veo bien por la calidad de la que hablare, pero no es algo de todos los días. Se puede ver desde lejos mientras preparan el café pero no es algo muy detallado porque la cocina es más apartada de las sillas donde esperamos.
Hablando de la espera... No pasa mucho tiempo desde que se hace el pedido y se cancela hasta que te llevan el café, yo decidí esperar adentro porque hay aire acondicionado y como venía de dar varias vueltas en el centro, venía muy acalorada, pero también hay mesas y sillas en la parte de afuera del café.
El día que yo fui note que muchas personas piden su café y desayuno para llevar y llevaban uniformes de empresas cercanas; así que me imagino que puede llegar a ser un punto muy estratégico, ya que, en esa zona de la ciudad muchos son los pequeños y grandes locales que hay. Hablando un poco de la decoración tiene una combinaciones en marrones, las sillas son plásticas en un marrón más claro y las mesas de madera en marrón oscuro. El área de la caja tiene un mesón de granito que le da elegancia, y donde exhiben los dulces. En la parte de arriba lleva el logo y los diseños personalizados que son propios del café. En el techo hay muchos bombillos y por eso el local se ve muy bien iluminado, incluso llega a tener una apariencia más romántica.
My choice of drink was a Strawberry and Coffee Merengada, which had: strawberry ice cream, strawberry samba (a Venezuelan chuchería); coffee, coffee syrup and whipped cream with sprinkles and samba decoration. The cost for this was $4.5, a price I see fine for the quality I will talk about, but it is not an everyday thing. You can see it from afar while they prepare the coffee but it's not something very detailed because the kitchen is more secluded from the chairs where we wait.
Speaking of waiting... It doesn't take long from the time you place your order and cancel it until they bring you your coffee, I decided to wait inside because there is air conditioning and since I had just come from walking around downtown, I was very hot, but there are also tables and chairs outside the café.
The day I went there I noticed that many people ordered their coffee and breakfast to go and wore uniforms of nearby companies, so I imagine that it can become a very strategic point, since in that area of the city there are many small and large stores. Talking a little about the decoration, it has a combination of browns, the chairs are plastic in a lighter brown and the wooden tables in dark brown. The cashier's area has a granite counter that gives it elegance, and where the candy is displayed. On the top of the counter is the logo and the personalized designs that are characteristic of the café. There are many light bulbs in the ceiling, making the place look very well illuminated, and it even has a more romantic appearance.
Para cerrar hablando de mi elección en general, el café estaba divino y el calor se me paso poco a poco; el sabor a fresa predominaba igualmente el de la samba, pero el contraste con el café es perfecto. La crema estaba muy rica y conforme se iba acabando mejor me sentía, en el sentido de que más rico se sentía.
Lo que también me encanto, es la selección de canciones en el local, bien sutiles, en volumen muy bajo para que las personas puedan hablar tranquilamente. La verdad es que el ambiente es bien Fancy y relajado. En definitiva quiero volver a ir y probar más opciones del Menú.
To close talking about my choice in general, the coffee was divine and the heat passed little by little; the strawberry flavor predominated as well as the samba, but the contrast with the coffee is perfect. The cream was very rich and as it was running out the better I felt, in the sense that the richer it felt.
What I also loved, is the selection of songs in the place, very subtle, in very low volume so that people can talk quietly. The truth is that the atmosphere is very fancy and relaxed. I definitely want to go there again and try more options from the menu.
