It's the end of the month, and we have enough reports to submit and tasks to accomplish in the office. It was a week full of deadlines and month-end responsibilities for us working in the corporate world. And after all that, we need to escape and enjoy for a while.
We planned on having a quick dinner out together after we clocked out from work. There was a famous café around town, so we wanted to try some of the food and drinks they offer there. When we got to the café, the ambiance was cool and welcoming. I appreciated the minimalist interior design as well.
When we got inside, we looked for the best spot and requested the menu. We started checking out what we wanted to try here. I just ordered their best-selling hot coffee, while the others wanted to have some cold drinks.
After ordering, the staff told us we needed to wait about 20 minutes because we also ordered some snacks. While waiting, we started talking about office-related topics.
We heard our names called one by one by the staff, which means our orders are ready. We picked them up at the counter and put them on our table. My co-workers ordered some milkshakes, and I got the hot coffee in a cute transparent mug. Also, I got myself some Quesadilla with 3 different sauces on the side.
It was an amazing night full of laughter and conversation, with good food on the table. We are very happy to have such a simple dinner out after working for hours. We are looking forward to having more moments like this.
