Since January began, I have devoted myself to studying and doing my work like any young person who comes into this life, and now that the year is about to end, I wonder: How many cups of coffee did I drink in 2025? And maybe it's something I'll never know, but I am sure that every coffee I drank brought a smile to my face, and that's why coffee was never just coffee. It was a necessary break, a kind of ritual that is repeated throughout the year, and even if the place changes, it will still be coffee. I have many photos of special moments at different coffee shops I visited, and you can see that in each photo there is a different cup, a different companion, but the gesture is the same: pausing for a moment before continuing so I can enjoy every sip of that drink.

Many of the coffees I drank throughout the year were black coffee and other coffees with milk, and many of them were drunk in a hurry, standing up, almost without thinking, without adding sugar, in cups of different sizes. When we realize it, there are many factors involved, but I never missed that cup of coffee. In some cases, important people accompanied me on that adventure, but in others, the silence weighed more heavily than the cup. And yet, coffee always finds a way to adapt, like oneself, so that I never missed that cup of coffee that I love so much.
Each of those moments when I left home to go for a cup of coffee and took that first sip is something I will always be grateful for, and I will continue to repeat it so that I can create a memory that will remain in my mind, just like conversations, thoughts, and glances. That's why I already have my favorite coffee shops, simply because I know that when I go there, I will enjoy myself. It's also very curious how a cup can hold so much without saying anything.

These are some of the best moments and coffees I enjoyed during different months of the year, where it's not just about the best coffees in terms of flavor, but also about the moments that surrounded them and left something in me that is worth mentioning now. Because sometimes the best part wasn't the place or the company, but the opportunity to do something different, try new things, see people in cafés, breathe in those coffee aromas, and be present, thus experiencing something very different from what I experience at home. That's why this year, coffee was the excuse to go out, the moment, the true luxury of something very simple but meaningful to many.
That's why each of these photographs will be kept safe, so that when many years have passed, I can remember, no matter where I am, I can always find a simple moment that brings me back to the center: So, friends, I hope that this year you too can enjoy many moments and hold a hot cup in your hands with the certainty that this moment, however small it may seem, also counts towards creating your memories.
