Near our house there is a very busy avenue where you can find very interesting gastronomic proposals, it is impressive how many places there are of which we have visited many in the years we have lived here which are already more than five; however, we still have many to discover.
A couple of days ago, on one of the night walks that we usually do to venture to discover new places, we came across a very diverse coffee shop, and I say diverse because in addition to selling coffee, they also offer pastries, stuffed breads, among other things. We had already passed by this place in the past, but we had not dared to enter, so we decided it was time to try what "Frescura Café y Frutas" had to offer.
My first impression was that of a cozy place, with good space and cheerful colors, there are some paintings that awaken your curiosity while you wait for what you ordered, there is also a TV with good music and an air conditioner to maintain a pleasant temperature. I really liked that there were few people, that scenario usually relaxes me a lot.
As this was the first time we visited the place, we decided not to take any risks with exotic coffee variants, so we opted for traditional coffees and ordered a Classic Frappuccino (USD$ 3.20) and a Classic Cappuccino (USD$ 2.60), the idea was to determine if they were good so that next time we would have the confidence to order coffees that are out of the ordinary.
The Cappuccino was quite creamy, I think the proportions used by the barista were quite accurate, the three layers were very well balanced and the touch of cinnamon powder in the foam decorated the visual very well and provided an essence that was not invasive, in conclusion, I think it was a very good Cappuccino.
The Frappuccino left me with a good impression, at least superficially it looked good, because whipped cream is one of my passions and seeing it crown this refreshing coffee felt almost privileged, however, I did not count on the chocolate syrup that was added, I happen to be one of those strange people who do not like chocolate in any of its presentations, but well, I had to deal with the fact that the menu does not describe the accompaniments. But speaking directly about the taste, it was expected to be quite sweet since cold coffees are usually sweet, the intensity of the coffee was normal in my opinion, so in my opinion I consider it a pretty average coffee.
It is difficult to know if I will return to this place taking into account that there are many others to try, but my impression is quite intermediate, if for some reason I have no choice but to return, I will do it without any problem, I think it fulfills its function of offering a coffee that can perfectly satisfy you.
