For many moons I have enjoyed my morning coffee from the Nespresso in my vintage Bodum Bistro glass coffee it was a perfect size for my morning Cortado and the thin glass didn’t cool the coffee that much and designed to look like a mini coffee press the style was quite iconic. All that has unfortunately just changed. Whoops, crash, butter fingers.😩
One small plus it was empty so no real mess and it didn’t shatter not much broken glass to sweep up. Just try not to stand on the glass and make sure you have all the broken bits before padding through in bare feet in the morning.
I guess it’s time to start looking for some new mugs. I do have plenty of china mugs but the really need warming first with hot water before the coffee goes in. Which is a pain in the but as it means boiling the kettle too. Still better than no coffee at all.
Coffee and a mince pie it must be getting near to Christmas even nicer with a splash of rum or brandy in the coffee 😀
