Ok Hive Folks at the moment I’m on vacation in Kuala Lumpur and while the hotel I’m in is well appointed close to the KLCC park and monorail links it does do breakfast but it’s a buffet style and caters the majority Chinese guests they have and I can see why.
So after a couple of mornings I have wandered along the road to the adjoining hotel and I have been using their coffee shop “Cafe In House” for breakfast which is working out fine.
It’s nice and airy inside and the time I go there it’s fairly empty so plenty of places to sit.
It’s about a 2 minute stroll so no real hardship there is a comprehensive breakfast/brunch and the breakfast is cheap but freshly cooked also very good.
Normally I have the beef bacon (if you have ever been to Egypt you know all about that) and scrambled eggs with a coffee of course.
One thing I really like is jar of crushed chilli that comes with the condiments it’s a perfect accompaniment for the scrambled eggs. The Malays do like their food spicy.
Their breakfast menu also includes smoke salmon and scrambled eggs which I had on a couple of occasions which is worth it for the pile of capers that comes with the salmon, I really love them.
The coffee is Lavazza with a fresh bean grind with each cup so no worries about the quality and taste.
So there you have it Hivers my daily breakfast rituals while on vacation in Kuala Lumpur.
