Happy Sunday, dear friends I hope you have had a weekend of distraction and rest at the same time, I would like to share with you my outing to the countryside today where I saw several coffee trees, whose height at first glance was about half a meter, with various yellow fruits, being my favourite drink as I have narrated in several posts.
I wanted to spend a different day at the home of some relatives, where they drink coffee grown by them, whose process they wait for the fruit to ripen until it has a reddish hue, and then detach it from the branches and let it dry for several days, then roast/crush it and immediately let it rest to grind, obtaining a dark brown powder with a unique smell for their own consumption.
In the fields they boil the coffee with the water, together they aromatize the house and then with the help of the strainer they obtain the magic that captivates us every morning, afternoon or evening.
Appreciate various saplings, in the middle of a bright sun in the middle of the field.
The process of all the products are majestic and unique, each one has a technique for its direct consumption in the shops, we see it in presentation of grains or in powder with regional and national brands, selecting our preference and possibility of course.
It is enterprising to get to the origin of our favourite drinks and foods, as a general culture apart, we are trained to be able to give a concrete and accurate answer to the occasion.
It was a day full of sun, heat and lots of coffee hahahah, because for the consumption of my favourite drink I accompany it with bread or biscuits to taste, normally when you are with your family this snack is indispensable because not only flavours but also anecdotes are exchanged between laughter.
The process of roasting, threshing and grinding is not done by just anyone, they are people with experiences to follow, where behind this interaction they carry with them myths or customs if you can call them that.
If you have ever admired this process, tell me what do you think?
It is admirable that in spite of so much modernity the traditional process is maintained in the fields, resulting in a coffee with an indescribable aroma, I invite you to enjoy it to know its full flavour in the field.
Greetings, see you another time, have a beautiful week, blessings and success.
