It's been 48hrs since the new year and I wished I could take back the hands of time. Grief has been my companion since my last mission with Miles at a New Year's Art auction party. As I watched a crowd of family, fellow servicemen, and women with their crisp uniforms at the cemetery to pay their respects to a fallen soldier, a new kind of rage filled my heart. Miles' death was a blow to our hearts. His bravery and sacrifice will live forever in our hearts, but we take solace in the knowledge his death was avenged crudely and that his spirit will never die.
As Miles was laid to rest, the Chaplain recited a prayer, as the coffin was slowly lowered into the ground. Then, the honor guards stepped forward, carefully removing the flag that had draped the coffin. With precise movements, they folded the flag according to tradition, and then the commander presented the flag to Miles' grieving family, while some honor guards fired rifle salutes, a final tribute to his service. The last fired rifle salutes made me realize the Delta Team will never remain the same again without Miles.
Seventy-Two Hours Earlier

It was a cold, snowy morning in Washington D.C. When high-ranking military officers and the Secretary General of the United States filed into a conference room for an emergency meeting.
"Gentlemen, thank you for coming," the SG began. "I have called this meeting today to discuss a matter of great importance to our country. The 'Operation Black-dawn', the construction of the biggest coffee farm and industry in the United States is compromised. Our intelligence reports accurately indicate that the a rogue agent who has possession of the 'Operation Black-dawn' case information files. We need to retrieve the information to prevent tension across the country, considering some scientific experiment to be carried out during farming"
"Since the identity of the rogue agent is known, I suggest we call in extra special hands to handle the retrieval" one of the high-ranking officers suggested.
"Who do you have in mind, Col. Kal?" the SG asked.
"Delta Team is the extra hands we need and the perfect team to carry out this mission without attracting any witnesses."
The SG nodded, a grave expression on his face, "Call them in, and when they retrieve the case information they should bring it back to me directly."
Two members of the Delta team were called in and briefed about the mission to retrieve the said information from the rogue agent who would be attending a New Year's art auction party where he would exchange the information for cryptocurrency.
As the Delta Team got to the Art auction party, they blended in by appearing as the attendees of the auction so as not to be noticed. Using covert listening devices to communicate with each other using the coded names; Coffee Bean (Miles) and Magic pot (Eva).
"Magic pot, would you suggest a code name for our SG?"
"You always give me the hardest tasks, why? Let's go with 'Teabag' then"
"And she did it again. Am in position" replied Bean.
"Copy that, keep your eyes open, so we go home early" Magic pot chuckled
A few minutes into the Auction party, the rogue agent was spotted by Bean walking to a secluded passage of the auction house. Carefully stalking after him, Bean followed the agent without being noticed after he alerted Magic pot. The rogue agent was dressed in a well-tailored tuxedo, with his hair silk back and a good set of shoes.
"Take a step and I will blow your brains out," Bean said, pointing a gun to the back of his head.
"You are making a big mistake, I am not the bad guy here, the SG is!" The agent blurted out.
"Hand it over, don't make things difficult" Bean said ignoring the agent's accusation towards the SG.
"Gun!" Magic pot yelled running towards them as strange men began to take a fire shots at them.
Bean and Magic pot went down flat on the floor, but it was too later for the agent as a bullet already went through his neck hitting an artery. Quickly dragging the agent's body to cover while magic pot shot at the buyers to buy them more time. Choking on his blood the rogue agent brought a flash drive, handed it over to Bean, and said, "do the right thing". Those were the last words of the Agent.
Magic pot caused a diversion and then she escaped with Bean. Hopping into the Lamborghini they came in to appear like other attendees of the auction they left with the flash drive. After they had driven a few meters away from the auction house, Magic left Bean to go report that the information was retrieved and Bean was taking it directly to 'Teabag'(SG) as they were instructed.
Bean got suspicious of the information he was holding and why did the agent tell him to do the right thing before he died. So Bean pulled over and access the flash drive using his computer only to discover that 'Operation Black-dawn' was not about the construction of the biggest coffee farm and industry in America but it was evidence of how Teabag operates a human trafficking chain all over the country. Disappointed, he quickly made copies and sent them to each Delta Team member while he took the original copy him.
It was almost midnight, as Bean meets up with Teabag to give him the flash drive retrieved. Giving the flash drive to him, he knew something bad was going to happen but knew his team would do the right thing.
Multiple gunshots
"Clean this up and leave no trace behind," Tea bag said to his men.
