For as long as I can remember, I have been taught that in life there are special moments to be thankful for and celebrate, for example, celebrating the life we have and the family, enjoying each day with our loved ones, meditating on the blessings we have, among other things. This is to show gratitude and remember the importance of each thing in our life. Since I have been in the #CCC community I have been able to learn new things and also reinforce my love and appreciation for a drink that I didn't get along with very well as a child, coffee. Since I considered coffee as a drug that drove people crazy haha. But being in this community and making a life here has led me to learn new things and visit new places related to coffee all over the world.
But I never imagined that there was a coffee day if I knew pizza day, dog day, or cat day, that is to say, that there is a day for every important thing in our life, and if coffee has a special day that was the first of October, it is a memorable day that can make us remember the great privilege we enjoy to have such a glorious drink that helps us every day of our life.
Now, my history with coffee started very early, as I have already mentioned before, it started when I was 3 or 4 years old when my mother used to give us coffee with milk in the mornings for breakfast, and although I don't remember exactly the taste of coffee, it brings me good memories with my family and that is what I like the most about coffee, the moments you create sharing with those you love. Although I have also had bad moments with coffee haha, don't think that everything is rosy, I have commented that I burned myself in front of a lot of people for thinking that a glass of coffee was soda or also sweetening coffee with salt because I thought it was the same, haha, no, it is not haha.
But as I became an adult I came to appreciate even more the moments of sharing a cup of coffee with someone special, like my wife. When I ask her out and we have coffee, we get to talk as a couple and it strengthens our relationship even more. Or when you share coffee with someone who is no longer with you, and when you drink a cup of coffee you can't stop the tears when you remember all the moments you shared. Coffee is more than just a drink, coffee has become a part of our lives, and celebrating it on a special day was long overdue on the calendar.
Of course, I am still only a quarter of a century old and I still have a lot to discover about coffee, that is why I want to continue on this same path and community, where I learn something every day about coffee, and explore all the flavors that there are to try, I considered myself an expert because I had already had Irish coffee and I thought there was no more, but after seeing a list of coffee combinations I realized that I was just a baby in diapers, the list of coffee combinations is more than 2000, so there is still a long way to go.

Therefore, I hope that next International Coffee Day I will be able to celebrate it with great happiness since this week I had to remain almost inactive due to the death of a relative of my wife and I was accompanying her, and I gave myself a few days of rest because she was someone special to me, my wife's grandmother was a great coffee lover, and not having her makes it a little difficult to cope, but having a cup of coffee my wife and I remember her fondly, how she would eat a cookie and a cup of coffee with so much love, tears come to our eyes remembering her.
