Enjoy Coffee and Snacks at Jameuen Kupie
Steemian friends...
Good afternoon late afternoon. Hope you are always in the protection of Allah SWT, and success in carrying out daily activities.
See you again with me , after a long time not creating content on this platform. This time I will share a post about food stall style "Jameuen Kupie". One of the stalls located in Gampong Cot Bada Baroh, Peusangan-Bireuen District. A stall with the concept of ornament and typical food "tempoe doeloe".
Some time ago I had heard of the existence of this stall with a slightly different concept. I feel interested and plan to visit there, when I have free time.
And yesterday was the perfect time for my first visit with colleagues to visit this shop. Because it is relatively far from the main road (Jln. Medan-Banda Aceh), we had to drive back and forth several times to find this typical “Acehnese-style” warung.
After a while, we finally found signs that a few tens of meters ahead would be the tone of a warung. This can be seen from the presence of several people going in and out of a gate that has thatched roofs. Finally we found it.
Immediately we lowered the speed of the vehicle and stopped to park our vehicle and started walking through the gate. It was around 09.30 in the afternoon. We noticed that there were no visitors yet.
Then we walked around for a while to see the situation, as well as paying attention to the different ornament designs from some of the stalls we had visited before. Seen on display used goods, such as various machines, vehicles, ancient copper scales, petromak lamps, and various other used goods
In addition, there are several posters containing "hadieh maja," old sayings, rhymes, and the like, which are in temples in many places. There are also shelves displaying used books and televisions.
Then we took a seat at the table to the north. Then order coffee (read: kupie khop) and green tea, as well as food in the form of "jagong keurabee". This food is a typical ancient food made from boiled corn, then sliced the seeds, then mixed with grated coconut, plus a little sugar.
While sipping kupie khop and green tea, as well as jagger keurabe, we we enjoyed the view of the stall decorated with various flowers. It wasn't long before some visitors started arriving. They seemed to enjoy the view when they arrived at the location.
After enjoying delicious coffee and the atmosphere of "Jameuen kupie," which spoils the eyes. After we met the cashier to settle the bill, then and took some photos before rushing to leave the place.
Finally we returned to work and resumed activities. In each of our minds, we plan to come back to this stall again, and enjoy a variety of miniman and other typical food dishes, the legacy of endatu.
In the afternoon after carrying out other office activities until 16.30 WIB. Then I left the office and headed home. Thus the series of my activities today, may be useful.
