Hello, coffee friends around the world!
I hope you had an amazing International Coffee Day!
I'd like to thank and the community for letting me know about this wonderful day. October, without a doubt, is one of the best months of the year. It begins with this day and ends with Halloween.
To tell you the truth, during this entire trip to France, I've missed the good coffee from my home country. I can't adapt to the cafes in Paris. The coffee shops are incredible, but the coffee tastes different to me. Smoother, less aromatic.
However, when I return to Cuba, the first thing I'll do is celebrate with my friends at one of my favorite coffee shops. I don't know if I'll try anything new. What I do know is that I'll have a pot of espresso and then a nice cortadito with toast or crackers.
You have to please your body with what it likes.
But yes, since I couldn't celebrate the 1st, I'm going to make the rest of the month International Coffee Month and celebrate every day until October 31st.
I've heard that vanilla coffee tastes delicious. I've been told it's easy to make: add a couple of drops of vanilla essence to a cup of espresso, and voila, the magic happens.
That's among my first tasks. Then, I'll go out and explore new coffee shops. There must be some amazing ones around where I live. There must be a new coffee recipe somewhere, and I'll try it.
This promises to be an incredibly delicious month. Let's celebrate.
