A coffee shop for storytelling [ ENG/ ESP]

As they say, the best companion for a long and enriching conversation is a cup of coffee; it is undoubtedly the best ally for telling stories, remembering moments lived, those anecdotes that one brings with them.

I recently had the privilege, so to speak, of traveling, and although it was for a short time, it was a good trip, with encouraging news, but at the same time, with anxiety. It's not easy when you go back to the doctor and he gives you that diagnosis again, and worse still, when he tells you that you had the wrong treatment from the start. I'll talk more about that later.

Today I just want to share with you again how rewarding it is to have a delicious coffee in any bakery, in good company, or rather, with my favorite person, the only one who is always there for me, who never says no when I invite her out, especially to sit down and have coffee, because she is a faithful coffee lover; it's her favorite drink, so how can I not indulge her?

Coffee gladdens the soul and the heart, and although I've been told I should give it up, I've only reduced the amount I drink. It's impossible to give up my best companion, my faithful friend, my good cup of coffee.

Como dicen por allí, el mejor acompañante para tener una larga y enriquecedora conversación es una taza de café; sin duda es el mejor aliado para contar historias, recordar momentos vividos, aquellas anécdotas que uno se trae.

Hace poco tuve el privilegio, por decirlo de alguna manera, de viajar, y aunque fue por poco tiempo, fue un buen viaje, con noticias alentadoras, pero a la vez, con angustia, no es fácil cuando nuevamente acudes al médico y te vuelve a dar ese diagnóstico y, peor aún, cuando te dice que desde un inicio tuviste un mal tratamiento; de esto hablaré más adelante.

Hoy solo quiero compartirle de nuevo lo gratificante que es tomarse un rico café en una panadería cualquiera, con buena compañía, mejor dicho, con mi persona favorita, la única que siempre está allí para mí, que nunca me dice que no cuando la invito a salir, sobre todo a sentarnos a tomar nuestro café, y es que ella es una fiel amante del café; es su bebida favorita, cómo no complacerla.

El café alegra el alma y el corazón, y aunque me han dicho, que debo dejarlo, solo he reducido las cantidades, pero es imposible dejar a mi mejor compañero, mi amigo fiel, mi buena taza de café.
