A Coffee For Afternoon Tea
I will never tire of repeating that coffee is one of those versatile drinks that simply adapts perfectly to any occasion in our lives; That's why we find a cup of coffee in the most elegant moments, the most cheerful spaces, in circumstances that bring sadness to the soul, and on weekend afternoons when the rain falls incessantly, the cold seeps through the cracks in the windows, and company is always welcome.

Coffee not only helps us ward off the cold and drowsiness typical of these wintery environments, but also helps us glide through a sea of flavors, where we find bitter notes, sweet touches, and a truly indescribable aroma. Venezuelan coffee is undoubtedly positioning itself as a first-rate product internationally, but we are still a little-known country in this area, even though we have an abundance of excellent coffee brands, which are marked by the characteristics of these lands and the love of the farmers who give their best in every task to harvest a product of excellence.
With a good cup of coffee, we can reflect, dream, and immerse ourselves in a deeply personal world, where many images pass through our minds and where memories sometimes become parallel realities, which can directly interfere with our mood. It is for this reason that this drink becomes a powerful elixir capable of stirring all our senses.
But returning to a much more tangible reality and taking advantage of a friend's visit, whose stay was prolonged due to the weather, I set out to prepare a different but flavorful snack, where we would find some alfajores, cookies, and sweet bread, all accompanied by the magical flavor of freshly brewed coffee.
It was a simple evening marked by Venezuelan scientific traits, where there was much laughter, joy, and wit, but where, fundamentally, there was always good coffee in the cupboard, which is capable of giving that unique and personal touch to those moments when we seek to share fellowship, hope, and joy.
