Hi Hive Lovers
I'm back to get the best coffee delivery from a good friend of mine. This time, it's Bali's Kintamani coffee.
#Bali is one of the favorite destinations or tourists from all over the world. All aspects of tourism are available there. The most famous are natural tourism and cultural tourism. Everyone who has ever been there definitely has the desire to come back again.
For those of you who like coffee, Bali is a coffee heaven, and the most famous one there is Kintamani Coffee.
The name Kintamani Coffee refers to an area called Kintamani, which is one of the areas in Bangli Regency on the island of Bali. Kintamani is a center for coffee plantations and production because the area consists of highlands at 1500 meters above sea level. a very suitable height for the growth and development of quality coffee plants.
To find out how the quality, character, and taste of coffee are affected by the altitude at which it is grown, You can look back at the post I shared three days ago.
Kintamani coffee also consists of two main varieties, namely Arabica and Robusta. Several years ago, I visited there and tasted the two varieties of coffee at a coffee shop located right in the middle of the coffee plantation area. I haven't had the chance to enjoy Kintamani Coffee in a long time.
Today I was able to drink it again because a good friend of mine who lives there sent me both varieties. As a coffee addict, I am very happy with this post. Those who know me very well know that I would be very happy to be able to taste coffee from various regions.
I will present to you all how Kintamani Coffee tastes, and as usual, I always enjoy my coffee without sugar.
Kintamani Arabica
It is common knowledge that coffee addicts are very interested in Arabica coffee varieties. The taste character is more varied and stronger than the Robusta coffee variety.
Kintamani Arabica has a very strong, seductive, fresh aroma, just like Gayo Arabica. The size of the green bean is also large because it is cultivated in an area at an elevation of 900–1500 mdpl, does not cause flatulence, and is very safe for those who have stomach pain complaints.
When sipped, Kintamani Arabica does not leave an aftertaste in the mouth and does not have a spicy taste like coffee produced in other parts of Indonesia. For those of you who don't really like the bitter taste of coffee, this Kintamani Arabica coffee will suit you very well.
The distinctive characteristic of Kintamani Arabica is its fresh, sour taste like oranges (citrusy). In the past, when I visited and enjoyed Kintamani Coffee at a coffee shop on a coffee plantation, I had seen and received an explanation that the sour taste like oranges was caused by the habit of coffee farmers there who planted citrus plants around their coffee plantations.
When I drink this coffee that was sent, my memory goes back to several years ago, like when I drank Arabica Kintamani coffee for the first time at the coffee shop in the garden, coffee with a very strong citrus taste.
Kintamani Robusta
Robusta coffee varieties are not very popular among coffee addicts. But Robusta coffee still has its own market share and consumers.
Kintamani Robusta has a spicy and herbal sensation. It gave off a nice spicy aroma, and I tasted something bitter, like a refreshing tobacco.
Kintamani Robusta also doesn't produce coffee that is too strong, even though I have added 1 tablespoon more than my Arabica cup.
From the explanation I received when I visited a coffee shop at the Kintamani coffee plantation in Bali, the Kintamani Robusta variety has medium acidity and the caffeine content is not too high, although not lower than the Kintamani Arabica variety. still within tolerance limits for those of you who have gastric complaints.
Kintamani coffee is also the first type of Indonesian coffee that has received a geographical indication certification that is recognized worldwide and has become an export commodity to Europe, the United States, Australia, and several other countries.
Hopefully it will be a reference for you coffee lovers, and of course, for those of you who have the opportunity to travel to Bali, I highly recommend you try it.
Have you ever been to Bali and enjoyed its coffee before?
