Soaking in the sunshine
This morning me and my childhood friend, Tam, woke up at the crack of dawn to adventure off to a picturesque hiking spot in Modderfontein.

This special spot offers a sea of open land, a dam for fishing, a short walk through a magical forest, a waterfall, and a vibey food market.

Before arriving we stopped over at a local garage to get a much-needed cappuccino and protein bar as a little pick-me-up. The cappuccino went down swiftly, while the protein bar was somewhat of a letdown.

Overcast weather - ideal for hiking in my opinion
The weather was overcast and comforting, in my opinion, perfect hiking weather! We set off on a 5km walk, spoke our ears off about an overseas trip that we’re about to embark on in which I will be reunited with my gorgeous man
