It was a lovely day today and the sun was shining and the weather was very warm so we decided to go for a hike at a beach near us.

As the summer season is upon us it is starting to get extremely busy and the restaurant by the beach was was full.
My mom intended going for a swim in the sea but the water was a bit cold and so she just lay down and tanned a bit on a lounger whilst Eden and I went on with the hike.

We also recently discovered a taverna which is right around the corner from us. So we decided to give it a go and the food was excellent.
Chicken souvlakia with a baked potato and salad
I ordered a chicken souvlaki which came with a baked potato and a side salad. My mom and sister shared lamb chops which also came with salad and also had a side of french fries.
Delicious cappuccino at the end of the meal
Little complimentary cakes arrived - which made my mother very happy.
My dad and my girlfriend, Kiara are coming soon to visit Cyprus and I’ll be sure to bring them here to try it out.
