Crete - Day 2 - Part 2
At the restaurant with the beautiful view below us
After exploring the Souda Bay War Cemetery we stopped for a quick drink at a cafe/restaurant called Carte Postale.
Carte Postale
The restaurant had a very nice vibe to it with a bar in the inside and a cool outdoor chilling area which I'm sure at night must be such a vibe, especially with the amazing panoramic view of the city of Chania below which at night time must be even more marvellous with all the city lights.
Great views
I ordered a cappuccino and it was a really nice one, whilst my mom and sister shared a pot of tea.
Great cappuccino
I loved the tea pot that they brought as it was a cast iron pot, which I feel complimented the theme and vibe of the restaurant as well as the furnishings.
Very cute cast iron teapot
It was also nice to get some refreshing water seeing as it was so hot! As is standard in Crete, they brought some complimentary Greek Semolina cake on the house for us to have whilst we sat back and enjoyed our cappuccino and tea gazing at the view of Chania below us.

We waited for the red bus to arrive again and hopped on. I wanted to show my brother and sister in law the restaurant that my sister, dad and I had eaten at the day before, so we continued on all the stops until we reached the restaurant and hopped off there to have lunch.
I will post about out lunch in my next blog!
