In my neighborhood there was a very old lady named Rosa, as I mentioned in the title and she was a very hard working woman, she demonstrated this with her work of selling coffee and even though she had to do many things, she was diligent in fulfilling her work and also because selling coffee was useful to support herself and help her family.
Mrs. Rosa also had the responsibility of taking care of her grandchildren that she had, because her youngest daughter lived with her, so they were alone with the children and since her daughter had to work and look for the sustenance for her children, Mrs. Rosa took care of them all morning until her daughter arrived at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, which was the time when she could rest a little.
But Mrs. Rosa did not waste time because she always brought her work forward for her coffee sales, which was usually in the afternoons and late at night, so when her daughter arrived from work she already had her 2 thermoses of coffee ready and everything prepared to go to the nearest hospital, which was where she distributed or sold her coffee and when her daughter was late as one of her 3 grandchildren was already 12 years old, Mrs. Rosa would leave her with her siblings for a while to leave in time to be able to sell her coffee because in fact she had several clients.
This was done every day by Mrs. Rosa and not only because she was older, but also because she suffered from various illnesses such as diabetes and suffered from very strong pains in her legs, in fact she had many difficulties walking because she had to do it almost shuffling her feet, but because she felt useful and because the salary that came into the family from the work that her daughter did was not enough for much, to buy her medications the sale of coffee for Mrs. Rosa was a way out.
Sometimes Mrs. Rosa would arrive at her house at 2 o'clock in the morning or later until she finished selling her coffee, which by the way was so delicious, she would sell it with milk or black coffee and also sometimes she would bring hot chamomile or chocolate, but mostly it was coffee and even though she arrived so late, Mrs. Rosa was always willing to stop very early to be able to help her daughter when she went to work and attend to her grandchildren.
Mrs. Rosa says that she has been selling coffee at the hospital for many years and that she knows many people who stay there, whether they are patients, doctors, nurses or many people who simply come to buy their delicious coffee from Mrs. Rosa and another thing is that Mrs. Rosa is very kind, when someone visited her and she had a thermos of coffee ready to take to the sale in the hospital, she would kindly look for a cup or two and grab her thermos of coffee and serve them their cup, although the visitors would tell her not to worry that this was the coffee from her sale, she would laughingly say "no please don't despise my coffee".
The truth is that Mrs. Rosa is an example for everyone because in spite of all the effort she had to make and that she suffered from many illnesses, she found the strength to support her daughter and grandchildren and for this the work she did was to sell her coffee, unfortunately Mrs. Rosa died, but she left us a good example of being hard working, responsible and kind.
We can copy Rosa's example as her neighbors called her, she took great care in selling her coffee, but not only that but she treated people with kindness, we had the honor of knowing this lady and tasting her delicious coffee, and without a doubt when I taste a sweet coffee I remember that kind woman with affection. Your friends who are always with you say goodbye with much love and appreciation.
