Today I want to share the simple yet meaningful date I had with my dear friend, Che. We have been friends for more than decade now, and I truly treasure the bond we've built over the years. No matter how busy life gets, we make it a point to have a simple coffee date with each other at least once a month. We agreed to explore different coffee shops here in our town, turning catch-ups into little coffee adventures.
Last month, we had our first official coffee date at "Cafe 66". The place looked cozy and relaxing. Even though the space was a bit small, the vibe of the shop was still lovely and inviting. You could really tell that they use quality products, and the design of the shop was beautifully done. It had that aesthetic charm that makes you want to take photos and simply enjoy the atmosphere.
We checked their menu carefully and ended up choosing the same drink. We ordered two "Iced Salted Hazelnut Latte". For food, we picked the "Rotini Fajita Pasta with Toast Bread". The coffee tasted premium and rich! You could truly savor the smooth hazelnut flavor blended perfectly with the saltiness. It was delicious and satisfying!
More than the food and coffee, what made the date special was the laughter, stories, and memories we shared as friends. Simple moments like this remind me how blessed I am to have a friend like Che.
