Here I go again with my Starbucks reviews.
This time I’d be reviewing a seasonal starbucks menu and one menu that they launched under Starbucks idol selections. It has been a while since I posted coffee stuff, mainly I am on a break from going to cafes. Besides, by now, all cafes look pretty much the same to me & I have been to dozens of them last year and early this year. Also there’s nothing new piqued my interest; it’s the same though with coffee beans, these days I am less experimental because I have found my favorite beans which is Starbucks House Blend Or Pike Roast. So, I don’t go around tasting coffee beans and such anymore. Maybe at some point I will do that again.
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte
I don’t understand what is the deal with pumpkin spice latte. I know, it is seasonal Starbucks drinks that are loved by people but not me. I find it crappy and too spicy. I even threw up just after a few sips but still had to finish the coffee because I bought it. The pumpkin and spice ingredients were tad too strong. It looks so orange as well that it tastes more like pumpkin syrup than coffee. Maybe it’s just a personal preference but if you love something spiced and pumpkin, you’d love this one. Maybe.
Nutty Dulche de Leche Macchiato
Macchiato is the most basic Starbucks drink ever but when combined with dulche de leche, it becomes even more delicious. I would say, this is something I love more than caramel macchiato. The combination of dulce de leche with macchiato gives it more kick into the drink. It’s definitely diabetes tier of drink because its sweetness. There’s also hints of nuts which basically comes from hazelnut syrup. So having this in moderation would be a great idea. I am not sure how long they’d really put this out in the market but I hope it stays because it’s truly heavenly. Unfortunately they don’t serve it hot, which is something I prefer during rainy days.
During Christmas, Starbucks usually has seasonal drinks too. So far, my favorites are only summer, the independence day and also Christmas.The rest of the seasons are not my thing. I was expecting more from pumpkin spice latte but it wasn’t something I’d buy again.
