Is Starbucks going to compete with local brands in the grab n go sector?

Ready to drink starbucks isn't actually something new. In bigger cities, they already sell glass bottled frappuccinos which I love too but now, they are expanding the market to even in the middle of nowhere. I found out just yesterday when I was buying milk from the convenience store. Apparently this was already viral and people were hyping over it because it cost less than starbucks coffee at the cafe. These two variants below only cost $1 and also double shot.
As anoverpriced coffee addict, I welcome the option to drink $1 Starbucks anywhere, even in a small town. I would save so much on traveling to another city just to buy a few packs of grinded starbucks beans. At the store, I told myself that if it tastes similar or even better, I am buying every stock that the supermarket has and just fill my mom's fridge with canned starbucks. Since last night, I was too caffeinated. I just tasted it this morning and the taste was.....

worse than anticipated

It has a similar taste to nescafe but much smoother. It's not as strong as those you get from starbucks or even homemade ones from starbucks beans. Although compared to local brands, Starbucks taste smoother too and is suitable if you have acid reflux and still want coffee. So, despite the claim of double shot, do not expect to have the same taste as when you buy it from Starbucks. I mean it's understandable, it's just $1 coffee and everywhere, even at cafes, coffee at that price is hit or miss. Maybe it's just me and my liking to strictly LATAM coffee instead of Indonesian ones. Although in this case of canned starbucks, they are actually imported and I haven't checked what kind of beans they use. I am pretty sure in the US they have these canned but now I wonder how they actually taste compared to here.

What I appreciate is the can that looks quite exclusive just like how starbucks is marketed in the country, an exclusive brand and catered to middle to upper class. Comparatively, it is also more expensive than other brands. So, if you enjoy local brands, it's totally not worth it. But for a simple kick, Starbucks canned will do. Will I buy more? maybe yes maybe not because I don't really like its taste and would rather just buy starbucks beans and brew it at home.
