If you are coffee lovers, enjoying a cup of coffee every day must be a mandatory menu for you, especially if you are workers who need eyes to survive so that all your work can be completed on time and perfectly. Everyone has their own habits and uniqueness of how to enjoy coffee and the type of coffee that everyone enjoys is also different. And there are also those who don't like to enjoy coffee because of the influence of gastric disease, but that actually doesn't stop people from coming to the coffee fields just wanting to know how the coffee beans smell, the shape of the coffee tree and the care needed to become quality coffee cherries. and has a distinctive taste.
And here we are at Sopo Butar Café. 5 kilometers from the foot of Mount Sinabung. This cafe is not like other cafes. Which is under the foot of Mount Sinabung, because in this Café we can enjoy the expanse of coffee plantations from the top of the Café. Not only that, the green and stunning scenery at the foot of Mount Sinabung is also a typical view in this Café. How to describe the right words when I'm in this place, I don't even know, because clearly when we are at this café we are like 'going home' when work is very demanding and the word home without a burden is the best moment to return. That's how I describe this Cafe Sopo Butar.
Although this Café is located right on this 1 hectare coffee area, the menus provided at this café are of various types. The drinks available at this café are not only coffee. There are various types of juices, hot drinks, and hot chocolate. Likewise with eating here, you can choose various types of food, ranging from various processed noodles, rice and other snacks available at this Café. so if you don't like or can't be friends with coffee you can order another menu. As for the price, this cafe is very affordable for people who have thin wallets. as thin as silk. ha.. ha.. ha.. but hopefully not the contents of our thin wallets, friends.
The design of this cafe is also very unique and the classic impression is very thick here. There are various types of seating available at this Café and all types of seating here overlook a very nice view. The gusts of wind that are approaching slowly and the cold mountain air make the cup of coffee we order very delicious and has many meanings. And for me who can't enjoy coffee like my husband, I prefer hot chocolate and enjoy the romantic atmosphere at this Café.
Although the appearance of the coffee here is very simple in presentation and not as beautiful as the coffees found in the city or other large cafes, the taste produced from this cup of coffee is enough to write one word 'satisfied' from my husband's mouth. When the coffee was served, the condition of the coffee here was really still very hot, as was the hot chocolate I ordered. The cold air that touches the skin here as well as the wind blowing from the mountains makes the drinks and other dishes that come really hot because of course it will quickly get cold if we don't finish our orders quickly. And at this Café it also doesn't take long when we order the menu, so we don't get hungry and dehydrated when ordering.
Most visitors who come to this café will be very comfortable sitting here for a long time to enjoy a cup of coffee before continuing the journey to Karo Regency or other Regencies in North Sumatra, because this Café also includes a unique Rest Area. Like my husband and I. We just had a long trip around the villages at the foot of Mount Sinabung and we visited this Café to enjoy a cup of coffee so that my husband wouldn't get sleepy on the way.
The type of coffee sold at this café is Arabica black coffee. When I try a little of this coffee. the bitter taste is not too long on my tongue. The taste of the coffee served is also not too sweet so it fits perfectly. And the coffee served at this Café is made by the café owner himself from their private garden. However, it is really a pity that every visitor to this Café is not allowed to see the processing of this coffee. visitors are only allowed to take pictures around the coffee gardens around this cafe for free without being charged any fees.
If you visit this Café, I'm sure you will feel at home for a long time to sit here, chatting with other visitors who come from outside the area. If you are good at playing guitar or other musical instruments, you can play it here without fear of disturbing other visitors, such as some young children who visited this cafe just as we arrived. They happily sing folk songs with their golden voices using guitars. What do you think. Would you be interested in enjoying a simple cup of coffee at this Café? greetings from us Tomi and Maya from the city of BInjai Indonesia. Keep following our posts and see you again in our next post.
