It's Monday Morning in Korea.
Happy Father's Day.
I'm used to getting my coffee from a capsule machine. Now the machine is broken. It just continually pours out water even though the coffee pack is in there. It's the only coffee I have in the office right now. I'm thinking of ripping apart the pack and dump out the grinds and adding hot water and let it brew in my cup. I think I have a better chance of getting coffee this way than any other way before I go to class.
The weather had been cloudy and low pressure with a stickiness that I have only seen in jungles. I really need a cup of Java to jumpstart my day. I've got five classes left. I'm thinking of stopping by the vice principle's office and just taking a cup from his espresso machine. It doesn't taste good and it is a little walk but considering my options on campus there are really only three choices.
I miraculously fix the capsule machine my coworker broke this morning.
I take a capsule and dump the contents in hot water and mix.
I go out of my comfort zone and greet our vice principal and mooch a cup of coffee from his espresso machine.
I might go with option 2 seeing that I don't want to get up. The sky is still grey but it is nice to hear the sounds of kids playing outside at 9am. I have 40 student teachers coming soon. They are taking their practicum and coming to see how I do my magic. I don't even know how these forty teachers can fit in our classroom. There is not enough space with 25 students. It's going to be a funny site. They come from an all woman's college. I imagine the nervousness in the room is going to be overwhelming. I've got to get a cup of coffee.
I was attacked by mountain mosquitos at 4am. They have no mercy. I closed all the windows, but they snuck in the vents and under the door. They got in through the mesh I had blocking the door and they were waiting quietly until I was in my REM session. At that point all three of them attacked. In my dream it was jet fighters but when I woke up my skin was itchy and I could still hear one of them laughing. I got up and looked for my glasses and then the zapper. I set my body as a trap standing a corner they couldn't escape. The temptation of warm human flesh is more than a female mosquito can handle. One by one they came to me and entered their demise and then I could sleep for a couple hours before my alarm... and then time for school. Happy Monday.
