Last weekend, when I went to visit my mother, a neighbour and friend of the family who we hadn't seen for several days was at her house, and she invited me in for coffee. but the novelty of the story is not the coffee itself, but rather that she wanted to show me a beautiful electric coffee maker, one of those used to make delicious espresso coffee that comes in capsules, and invite me to try one, because I had never really had the chance to drink it before.
She showed me how to use this type of coffee maker and how great the coffee capsules are, all ready to go, you just have to pop them in. She made me a delicious coffee with a wonderful vanilla flavour that I really liked. Believe me, my friends, I was fascinated, because first of all, I am a coffee lover. I basically like my coffee strong, like most Cubans, with a little sugar, not too much, but strong. However, when I tried this drink, which is not the way I normally drink it, I can tell you that I loved it. She prepared it for us with a lot of love. My sister was with me, and we tried this delicacy.
That wasn't enough, though, because we got carried away and she decided to make me a strong one but with condensed milk, which I love. I'd tried it many times before, but my friend has a knack for making those coffees that taste so good. I guess it's because I'm trying out someone else's cooking 😁. Meanwhile, we told a few stories and enjoyed that delicious coffee. We had a very nice afternoon catching up on the latest news and, of course, inviting each other to spend time together because I always say that coffee tastes better in company.
Of course, another visit is pending, but I don't want to do it too soon so that when the time comes, I can enjoy it more, savour it more, and have a good chat and share with friends.
