Hi guys, how are you today? I hope you are doing well.
Today the weather is quite cool and pleasant, it is suitable to have a meeting with old friends that have not been seen for a long time. So I texted and invited a friend from high school, a pretty close friend of mine, to have coffee and chat. Recently, I often surf Facebook and see reviews of beautiful cafes in Da Nang, this is one of the coffee shops I have noted in my list of cafes to go in the near future, it is called Ut Tich Coffee, and located at 100-102 Bach Dang street, Da Nang city. This coffee shop is located in a convenient location, just about 2 kilometers by motorbike from the center of Da Nang city. Besides, the coffee shop is decorated with both classic and modern styles. Especially, at the order counter, there are also some old food that I used to buy and eat when I was in elementary school, which reminds me of my childhood. The space here is extremely spacious and airy, with two floors with different decoration spaces. The first floor has 2 positions for you to sit, which are outside and inside the house. Outside, the air is cool, you can sit and drink coffee while watching the traffic ahead. If you don't want to be too noisy to concentrate or chat, the inside is a good choice for you. The second floor is decorated with many unique and beautiful items such as lanterns, lamps, vinyl records..., this is the ideal location for you to take photos and post on social networks. So now I will show you some pictures about this coffee below.
We chose to sit on the balcony on the 2nd floor, where we could see the city from afar, watching the traffic go by, and enjoy the cool atmosphere of nature. In the balcony, there is also a bougainvillea plant in the corner of the wall and above the roof. There are even funny pictures decorated on the wall.
Here is decorated by many different styles of lights, you can see the unique decoration of the shop, there is a small space in a corner where people can hang the connecting lights down to the first floor.
The left hand side is also decorated with handmade bamboo wind chimes, which are quite popular in Vietnam. In particular, this place is decorated with many lanterns of various colors and designs. As you know, in Viet Nam, lanterns are often seen in Hoi An Ancient Town, so this coffee shop is likened to a miniature Hoi An.
On the wall is decorated with classic vinyl records from the 80s-90s, you can see many famous vinyl records in the picture. Not only the vinyl record, some other walls are decorated with masks made from bamboo baskets, classical music by the late musician Trinh Cong Son, old cassettes, etc. In a small corner, you can also see the signboard of Ut Tich Tailor Shop - specializing in making Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional costume), below is a small sewing machine placed in the shop, this is an old sewing machine, and now it rarely used and has been replaced by a more modern sewing machine.
On the walls are also painted unique images such as roads, flowers, trees, oil lamps that look very beautiful. There are also items such as small-sized conical hats, small ceramic figurines connected with twine and hung on the window frame. There are also many dried flowers that are placed in large vases and decorated on the shelves. I think this cafe is suitable for those who love the old, nostalgic like me. It seems to remind me of a part of my childhood associated with some of the items here. I really like coffee shops with this vibe.
Today I ordered a coconut to drink instead of ordering coffee because recently I have been having trouble sleeping at night, I am afraid after drinking coffee will cause inhibition and continue to lose sleep. The coconut has the name of the restaurant printed on it and is placed in a small bamboo basket, it looks very cute to me. In addition, after consulting, the price of drinks including coffee and juices ranges from 25,000VND - 50,000VND ~ $1 - $2.
I often pass by this coffee shop many times, I think the space is quite small, so I have not been there before. But now what I am most impressed with this coffee shop is that the space is more spacious than I thought. If you have the opportunity to come to Da Nang, you can't miss this coffee shop. Thanks for reading my article and see you soon in my next posts. Have a wonderful day! Love all!
