Hello coffee lovers of Cinnamon Cup Coffee! How are you all today? Hope all is well with you and your whole entire family. Coffee is a great part of me. Back when I was still a student, I always drank coffee when I was studying or making reviews for the exam. Now that I am in my forty’s I still love coffee and I do not mind what time of the day, as long as I want coffee I would look for it to buy and drink it.
For today's vlog, let me share with you all my one kind of coffee that I found while we were visiting my elder sister in Davao City. We found this cafe in the park. They serve coffee called MT.APO CIVET COFFEE. The most expensive coffee in the Philippines. It is expensive because the process highly needs more labor. The farmers collected in the mountain from the wild Civets in MT. APO. I can’t imagine the effort of the tribe people collecting it from the difficult mountain. Civets look like cats in the wild. The wild Civets would eat the coffee beans, digest it then poop while the tribe people gathered then washed it. This is one of a kind coffee process using natural methods because mostly we are used to using machines to make coffee.
I was able to smell the coffee and it smelled different. It has a fruity flavor, earthy flavor. The good thing about Civet Coffee is it is naturally grown on the volcanic soil of Mt.Apo. For me ,this is a very special coffee since my brother before shared with me that he loves drinking this coffee when he is working on a farm in Davao. My brother meets a friend that is from a tribe and he gives my brother this coffee . My brother told me that civet coffee is very yummy and aromatic.
The good news to people who have high acid and cannot drink coffee is that Civet Mt. Apo coffee is low on acid content and is safe to drink and there is nothing to worry about acid issues. Thanks to the Asian palm civet that made this one of a kind coffee. Mt. APO is the highest peak and highest mountain.
I ordered Mocha coffee and I am glad the barista made my coffee in front of us. The cafe has also served different kinds of drinks , foods, pastries, native delicacies and the Gold Coin Japanese cake. We ate and enjoyed our chitchats there above all, I enjoyed my coffee. The mocha coffee ,using the civet, has a very different taste and aroma. It is expensive but the money you spend is worth it. If you visit Davao , do not forget to try their Mt. APO civet Coffee. The most expensive coffee not only in the Philippines but in the world.
The park has many stuff toys animals display.
Thank you so much beloved coffee lovers, I hope you like my vlog. Have a nice evening and be safe. SEE you soon on my next vlog.
