In my city, in the center of #Cuba, there are many places where coffee is sold, something logical if you understand that Cubans find it essential to drink a very strong coffee at any time of the day.
When you walk through our streets, looking for somewhere to consume coffee, it is common to find many offers with similar characteristics. However, when you insist on the search, you discover really interesting places that become preferences where you return again and again. The place I show you below is one of them.
Today, as is customary when given the opportunity, I visited the Revolución Café-Museum. A small private business managed by Mariano, a peculiar #Spanish artist who has lived in Cuba for many years.
Mariano, even though he is the owner, is still a kind person and, on many occasions, he likes to personally attend to the audience.
When you meet Mariano, the hours fly by without us realizing it. His ability to dialogue and provoke laughter in listeners is admirable.
It shows a mastery of Cuban #culture and history that I undoubtedly respect and consume with great pleasure, always accompanied by a strong espresso #coffee and some tobacco whenever possible.
Mariano is a writer, painter and collector of coins and works of art in general. All this, in addition to being a very loved person by those who get to know him.
The decoration of the place attracts different tourists passing through due to the diversity of unique elements present that give it the character of an art gallery worth visiting by everyone.
In addition to being able to consume coffee in different variants, one can taste other fresh drinks and various types of national tobacco or cigars that are normally exported to other countries and are in high demand.
In this Café-Museum we can also find various cultural activities, music groups, writers giving talks or readings of their works, and the occasional #cat that is in charge of welcoming customers, but I will tell you those details in the near future.

En mi ciudad, al centro de #cuba, abundan los sitios donde se vende café, algo lógico si se comprende que al cubano le resulta indispensable beber un café bien fuerte a cualquier hora del día.
Cuando uno transita por nuestras calles, en busca de algún lugar donde consumir café, es común encontrar muchas ofertas con características similares. Sin embargo, cuando uno insiste en la búsqueda, descubre sitios realmente interesantes y que se convierten en preferencias donde regresar una y otra vez. El lugar que les muestro a continuación, es uno de ellos.
Hoy, como es costumbre cuando se me da la oportunidad, visité el Café-Museo Revolución. Un pequeño negocio particular que administra Mariano, un peculiar artista español que reside en Cuba hace ya muchos años.
Mariano, aún siendo el dueño, no deja de ser una persona amable y que, en muchas ocasiones, gusta atender personalmente él al público asistente.
Cuando uno conoce a Mariano, las horas pasan volando sin darnos cuenta. Su capacidad de diálogo y provocar la risa en los oyentes, es admirable.
Muestra un dominio sobre la cultura y la historia cubana que sin dudas respeto y consumo con gran placer, siempre acompañado de un café expreso bien cargado un algún que otro tabaco siempre que se puede.
Mariano es escritor, pintor y coleccionista de monedas y obras de arte en general. Todo esto, además de ser una persona muy querida por quienes le llegan a conocer.
La decoración del lugar, atrae a disímiles turistas de paso por la diversidad de elementos únicos presentes que le confieren el carácter de galería de arte digna de visitar por todos.
Además de poder consumir café en disímiles variantes, uno puede degustar de otras bebidas frescas y varios tipos de tabacos o cigarros nacionales que normalmente se exportan a otros países y resultan muy demandados.
Es este Café-Museo también podemos encontrarnos con diversas actividades culturales, grupos de música, escritores impartiendo charlas o lecturas de sus obras, y algún que otro gato que se encarga de darle la bienvenida a los clientes, pero esos detalles se los contaré en próximos momentos.
