My motivation to have a collection of cute mugs started when I was younger. I had a cute #hellokitty mug that my mom had given me as a gift because she knows it's one of my favorite characters. Eventually, one of my best friends, on one of my birthdays gave me a beautiful thermal cup of this motif too and I then had a ceramic cup made with the #starbucks logo in pink (by that time I hadn't tried any of their coffees). It was a very 'girly' and 'pink' collection 💗 that I left in Venezuela 🇻🇪 after emigrating but had I thought better of it, I should have packed it.

Cuando me mudé a Tenerife 🇮🇨 decidí nuevamente armar mi colección de tazas. Acá hay tiendas muy chéveres donde se consiguen objetos muy bonitos y a bajo coste. Cuando llegan las ofertas de invierno en enero y las ofertas de verano en agosto, me gusta organizar mi presupuesto y comprar objetos para mi hogar; las tazas son mis favoritas. En esta nueva colección tengo tazas muy rosaditas también. Unas con historias y otras no tanto. Comienzo con la taza con el logo de la familia: me la obsequió mi esposo mientras estuve embarazada. Fue mi regalo del primer día de las madres y me pareció un lindo gesto. Por último, pero no menos importante, la taza de mi esposo; es una taza de #starwars. La ama tanto que aún no la ha sacado de su cajita, la tiene como objeto de su colección debido a que tenía una igual pero se le rompió y tuvo que caminar muchísimo para poder encontrar otra igual.

When I moved to Tenerife 🇮🇨 I decided to put my mug collection back together. Here there are very cool stores where you can get very nice objects and at low cost. When the winter sales arrive in January and the summer sales in August, I like to organize my budget and buy objects for my home; mugs are my favorite. In this new collection I have very pink mugs too. Some with stories and others not so much. I start with the mug with the family logo: my husband gave it to me while I was pregnant. It was my first Mother's Day gift and I thought it was a nice gesture. It came with my favorite flowers 🌻✨ and a cute little box from my sister-in-law's business called 'Dulcititos' (IG: Hive account@dulcititos). Another mug that I really, really love is a mug that my husband gave me during his bargain hunting outings. It's a gorgeous mug with motif of #thebarebears 🐻❄️🐼🐻 I haven't debuted it yet but I hope to do so soon with a yummy coffee-based dessert to show you. Last but not least, my husband's mug; it's a #starwars mug. He loves it so much that he still hasn't taken it out of its little box, he has it as an object in his collection because he had one just like it but it broke and he had to walk a long way to find another one just like it.

I end this post by announcing that I would like to complete and finalize my collection with three special mugs that I consider I am missing: one Hello Kitty 😻, one with a Harry Potter 🪄✨ and one with a Sunflowers🌻 motif. They are motifs that I really like and I would like them to be part of my collection of mugs. I have not yet found one that catches my eye or causes a furor in me, but if I find them, it would be a pleasure to show them to you. In addition to this, I also like to visit coffee shops where they serve coffee in very nice cups like the one in the image below.
