Hello everyone, coffee community and visitors.
The coffee I can have with some sweets is in the afternoon, and although I am not very fond of desserts with coffee, when I decide on some sugary accompaniment, it must be completely to my liking. Luckily, Cumaná is a city that is very varied in this matter, in the coffee shops and other establishments you can find the ones you prefer. You just have to visit the right places.
In this sense, in the coffee shops of my greatest preference I can get them. Although I love local sweets, especially those made from fruits, such as papaya, mango, pineapple, coconut, guava and passion fruit, I prefer desserts with a prepared flour base with my coffee. At La Panetteria I can get them, tasty, at a good price and, most importantly for me, when it comes to accompanying my coffee, fresh, well-made and quality products. If the desserts have seasonal fruits, for me it is much better.
In this place, I can also get this combination; so I have the option of combining my two tastes: flours and fruits. It is important when you trust an establishment to cover your most important needs and tastes. Of course, coffee is part of this set, as well as bread, sweets, appetizers, lunches, snacks and even dinner. It is incredible the motivations that can lead you to become a frequent customer of a coffee shop, and without a doubt among these reasons are the proposals to accompany your coffee.
I have always thought that a very important part of choosing a place and what you are going to consume is the way the products are arranged, the cleanliness and the order. The visual appeal is part of the appeal that complements the decision to choose and stay with a place. These desserts you see are never the same every day, since the high frequency of customers makes the products go out quickly and are replaced by new and varied options.
The freshness of the ingredients is noticeable, to the eye and to the taste. The desserts with sweet flours and fruits, which are my favorites, whether with natural or candied fruits, also rotate quickly, because they run out every day. At the Panettería they sell a pastry filled with smoked ham and strawberry jam that is one of the favorite protagonists. It combines sweet, salty and hot in a balanced way in a dessert.
When I go with my son, Andrés, I never miss the opportunity to order it. They make it in the middle of the afternoon, and it sells out very quickly, that's why when I know I'm going, I do it with time to be able to enjoy that combination of flavors and temperatures in a dessert, with an espresso, creamy and with an excellent aroma. If you haven't tried something similar, I recommend it. Many wouldn't call it a dessert or sweet; but on top they paint the bread with honey and all that combination makes it ideal.
Whenever I go to La Panettería I take my time to choose, because it is very likely that you will frequently find new options...so it is not always easy and quick to choose. I highly respect the ritual of my visit here. I do it with diligence so that I can feel that it is really worth the time invested, the money, that enjoyment away from work and other routines that I have to do out of commitment.
This place is not really very big; the space and the quantity of products are not either; but it offers you a very select quantity of desserts with the freshness and care of those small things that really earn the greatness of the choice of customers, always assiduous, in search of the frequent variety and quality of what you can offer them.
I translated it with Google and took the photos with my Redmi11 phone camera. See you soon!
