Hello, coffee lovers all over the world. How are you today? How was your weekend? Spending time with our loved ones and close friends during the weekend will make our day slightly lighter. Well, I do love weekends.
For today's blog, allow me to share with you another short visit to one of the local coffee shops in Tuburan, Cebu when I visited a friend in Asturias, and we made a short stop to recharge after a long trip - Tuburan Coffee
For this prompt, I will be answering the featured question for the week,
Are you a regular at a local coffee shop? What factors (cost, menu, community) made you become one? And if you aren’t, what factors might determine you to start visiting a cafe regularly? Add a few snaps of your favorite cafe! Real coffee shop photos and real-life stories.
To tell you I'm late when it comes to drinking coffee. During my childhood days, my mom would not let me drink one for a very personal reason. When I had my college days, that's when I learned to drink coffee with close friends. Coffee break allows us to finish tasks overnight and when I don't have the time to prepare for breakfast, I just drink a cup of coffee before going to school to sustain myself before having my lunch. That's the cycle.
When I finished college, coffee became part of my life. It was my space for recharging my inner soul and coffee shops became my go-to place when I wanted to chitchat with long-lost friends. Aside from the coffee aroma that coffee shops serve, now, they have varieties to choose from which is a good place to stay and talk about personal and important matters with family and friends.
Similarly, this Tuburan Coffee shop in the town of Tuburan, Cebu will give you comfort with affordable coffee drinks, plus the aesthetic place that coffee lovers are looking at.
Every time I went to my friend in Asturias and had a long ride, we always made a short stop at this spot. It's located near the highway in the town of Tuburan. The place is cozy and relaxing to the eyes. They had a rooftop area if you also want to drink seeing the nature around.
The shop offers a variety of food to choose from. They also offered milk teas and other food for your snacks such as a slice of cake, fries, or pizza.
While waiting for our orders, I was looking at the wall of the space. They had the town map, with the different barangay in the area like a color wheel. For me, it was a pretty amazing idea. They also had a map of Cebu and the location of Tuburan town in the map showing to the visitors its uniqueness. Telling us that this town is the "First Homegrown Coffee Town in Cebu" which adds to interesting facts of the place.
Tuburan Cafe is the perfect idea of bringing fresh harvest from the farm to the cup because locals produce their coffee seeds which they process and from the farm, it will be brought to the coffee shops for a cup of coffee to taste. An excellent idea! Farmers will have their source of living while the town is also earning from the tourists visiting the place and having a sip of coffee.
I don't have any regular coffee shops that I always visited, just random coffee shops everywhere, trying to figure out the best. If you happened to visit the town, make a short stop and try the place.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog while drinking your coffee by your side.
Have a nice day everyone 😊
