Why do people like going to classic places? I think it's because they remember things that used to be done in the past. For example, buildings that were once familiar. Now the shape of the buildings and many other things have changed. I find it interesting to remember and experience classic things.
The holidays have arrived. Many people are spending time with their families. During the holidays, I also get a lot of jobs taking people to various vacation spots.
On several occasions, some of my passengers asked about good coffee shops or cafes. They had a calm and pleasant atmosphere.
I took them to a classic-style coffee shop that resembled a city station. Come on, I'll take you to a coffee shop called Nggone Mbahmu."
It's run by a husband and wife. It's a perfect holiday spot. The name of this cafe in Indonesian means At your grandmother's place. It fits the atmosphere of the coffee shop, I think, reminding visitors of a cool, beautiful grandmother's house.
klaten city station
It's located near Klaten Station. This is the front of Klaten Station, which resembles a coffee shop. Both are classic Dutch buildings from the time the Dutch still ruled Indonesia.
There's been no renovation at all in the coffee shop. Instead, the old vibe attracts visitors. For those who want to experience the old vibe.
A spacious house with a surrounding wall. It's an old-fashioned house from the past. The name "Nggone Mbahmu" is displayed on the wall. Visitors can clearly see it.
The Coffee Shop Prompt, which I'm reviewing, is a holiday spot that can be enjoyed at the coffee shop. It has a green atmosphere and a beautiful yard.
Park benches are near the ornamental pond. Although there aren't many benches for visitors, they're only outdoors. They maintain the garden feel, not the crowded cafe feel.
They're designed to be as natural as possible. I think too many benches would detract from the natural feel of the garden.
I ordered a hot cappuccino. No latte art, served in a classic style. The cup and saucer are classic ceramic. Wow.
With each cup of coffee, you get a free classic coconut cake. This cake is even rarely sold on the market. I remember having coconut cakes like this during my childhood during holidays.
The combination of coffee was savory, not sweet. It was strong enough to soothe my throat so I wouldn't feel sleepy while driving.
The coconut cake was special. The aroma of savory butter and toasted coconut flesh.
It felt even more like my grandmother's house when I saw the many fruit trees. There were mango trees, avocado trees, and durian trees.
The decorative flowers were neatly arranged. I thought it was beautiful. It really felt like my grandmother's house.
Also, the additional old collection, some art creation besides coffee shop. Good for enjoying art while shipping the coffee at this place.
Thank you for reading my blog. Greetings from Indonesia.
