Throughout the world different special dates are celebrated to commemorate that which causes an impact on the multitudes, that is why we also find among these festivities the International Coffee Day, a date on which everything that this crop means is celebrated, from the entire process of the coffee growers until the final product is consumed by coffee lovers and the day chosen for its celebration at an international level is the first of October.
As we all know coffee is one of the most consumed beverages in the world. There is no corner of the world where there is no knowledge of this beverage, however for me, although there is a special day to commemorate it, in my life it is present every day and on any occasion.
I am one of those who loves a good dark coffee when I wake up and start my work. I cannot conceive my day without that delicious cup that recharges me and restarts me to have all the spirit and energy to leave my house ready to face any obstacle, because we know that life is also full of challenges, but if you face them with a delicious coffee on your palate, I assure you that you will be alert to solve all situations, because everything also has a solution at the same time.
Coffee also sustains the economy of several countries, that is why it is so important in some regions, where the coffee plantations come to life providing a great amount of employment, where its workers take great care in the process, from the plantation to the selection of each coffee bean that they select, to roast it, to export it and also to manufacture quality products.
When we feel lonely and apathetic there is nothing better to raise the good vibes than drinking coffee. When we want to have company and enjoy long gatherings, coffee also becomes a drink to toast, although it does not contain alcohol and is not served in a crystal glass, we can also raise our cups as a toast to wish each other happiness and long life or the beginning or the culmination of an important project.
In my country it is also common to offer coffee at funerals, and this is an ancestral custom, since we have the habit of accompanying the grieving relatives all night long, and since coffee is an energizer, it keeps us awake and alert.
I am an innate coffee lover. It is a family inheritance and tradition. I have been drinking it for as long as I can remember and for me the one I enjoy the most is the one I add a touch of frothy liquid milk and I never turn down an invitation to drink coffee. Here if you visit a Venezuelan at any time believe me that the first thing they will put in your hands is a hot and spectacular cup of coffee to share with a piece of bread or perhaps a piece of cake.
So today and every day let's celebrate that we are alive and enjoy coffee as the best invention in the world.
