Like everything in life, there are good days and also very bad days full of stress, this Friday for me, due to multiple pressures that overwhelm me, despairing, not being able to achieve the goals I want and stabilize my things, that apart from the immense heat that was around noon, which was suffocating, while the sun's rays filled the blue sky.
Over time, it has always been very important to know when to pause activities and go out for a walk, eat a dessert, or do something as simple but comforting as having a good coffee enjoying its fragrance and creaminess to relieve all charges, allowing me to resume my senses to their fullest capacity.
However, today I didn't get a single seat available in the coffee where I wanted to treat myself it was so crowded that there were people outside waiting for a seat, which I wasn't willing to put up with on such a busy day as that will be Just the opposite of the tranquility I was looking for, so with nothing else to do, I decided to go to the supermarket to take a look at the products to distract myself.
At this point, I must thank the coffee gods for putting this magnificent product in my path, to remind me that they will always be there accompanying me at all times, as the faithful companion that coffee is in all my activities.
Believe it or not, under such exhausting heat, anyone would like to have a cold beer, but how many would have the joy of finding something as great as what I am going to describe today? Now that is a very different story.
Dear friends, I came to talk to you about one of the strangest drinks I've come across, which I had no idea existed or at least could be made, I mean a coffee-based craft beer if as you read it, is a German type black beer combined with coffee, if this is not an exotic product created by a genius, I don't know what is.
In my opinion, it is a gift from heaven without a doubt, my two favorite drinks combined in a single product and also made in an artisanal way, it is something that I could not miss, so without hesitation, I bought it immediately and got ready to drink it, in one of the small external tables of the shopping center, surrounded by green and natural vegetation, which returned freshness and tranquility to my mind.
Peregrina Barista beer is an almost exclusive product that can only be found in a few places, and this coffee-flavored presentation is a kind of special edition that is on sale for the first time.
It is a beer made in the city of Victoria, Aragua state, Venezuela. As detailed on its presentation label, its main ingredients are malt, barley, coffee, and hops.
Its bitterness according to the measurement parameters for beers is IBU-2835 and its color is 35-38, it has an alcoholic strength of 5.5, which makes it a strong beer, and it is recommended to drink it very cold.
Now I will tell you my experience, it is a strong drink from the first sip, it has a very tasty aroma of coffee and barley, and the taste blooms on the palate, a flavor which gives it a notable distinction. It is very pleasant to drink very cold, especially in the extreme heat conditions to which my body was subjected at that time.
The classification of this beer, according to the data on the container, is of the Dark Ale type, where a special combination of flavors derived from light and dark malted barley mixtures stand out, which gives it body and aroma, without counting the traces of coffee that are appreciated and highlighted at all times of the tasting
In general lines, it is a quite tasty drink, friendly, and recommended for demanding tastes, especially for coffee lovers like us. Although I must admit, that it is just an ideal companion for some food, or it may even be used for cooking, since thinking about drinking several of these beers would get you drunk quite quickly, due to its strength and high alcohol content, otherwise, I recommend it without hesitation, as a lifesaver in hot and oppressive days.
I hope you like this review, of a product quite different from the ones we are used to finding in the normal lines of beers.
See you in an upcoming review.
Thank you for reading
