Hello dear friends of this distinguished Community, I hope you are all well. Here I am again with you to share another delicious experience with my beloved coffee.
Last week I went to a friend's house, when I arrived (around 4 o'clock in the afternoon), she invited me to a small terrace that she has in her house, we talked for a while and I was waiting for her to offer me a coffee and nothing, I was embarrassed to tell her.
After a while, after telling us a little bit about our lives, he got up and told me: "Wait here friend, I'm coming... I'm going to bring you something that I'm sure you'll love". I thought to myself, "He's finally going to bring me a coffee, thank God".
I sat there for a few minutes waiting, when suddenly my friend appeared with two plates of cold cookie cake, I wasn't really as excited as if she had brought me a latte or a black coffee.
I grabbed the plate and thanked her, but a little puzzled, since I wanted coffee, but my surprise was when I tasted that delight, it was a cold coffee cake, it was very tasty, I really felt like I was having the best cappuccino in the world but in a cold version.
My friend told me, that was a surprise I had for you here, since I know you are a coffee lover, when I was making it I remembered you dear friend, -she told me-, I thanked her, the truth was really delicious, but I still confessed that I was waiting for a coffee, she told me there was no problem that she could make it for me.
We continued talking while we tasted that appetizing dessert, when we finished eating she told me that she was going to make me coffee, but really that dessert rewarded 100% my desire to consume coffee at that moment, I was ecstatic and fascinated with it, so I immediately asked her for the recipe.
She gave me the step by step along with the ingredients to use and yesterday I bought only the cookies, since at home I had some Juan Valdez instant coffee, cornstarch, sugar and milk.
I confess that this coffee dessert was much tastier than my friend's, hahaha. It is really like having a cold cappuccino.
I invited my neighbor to try it and she was fascinated, she also asked me for the recipe, hahaha.
