Drinking coffee or drinking tea can always be an excuse for someone to get closer to other people, or it can be said, that coffee and tea always have an important role in the socialization stage.
There is a coffee shop near where I live which I find interesting. This coffee shop is not very big, that's what it looks like from the front when I passed in front of it.
Because the front door is full of translucent glass, people from the outside can see straight into the room at the very front of this coffee shop.

KOPI KOST (Boarding Coffee).
Located on Jalan Kertamuki, East Ciputat, this coffee shop has quite a few tough competitors. at least there are more than ten coffee shops with different concepts that are along this path.
Even though this is not a culinary area, Kertamukti does have a potential location for opening a food shop or coffee shop business, because this is an area of several faculties from a university, there is also a hospital not far from there.
Therefore, almost every night along this road there are always many young people hanging out with their friends.
My choice to visit Kost Coffee seemed right. Incidentally, I wasn't looking for a place that was too crowded, and Kopi Kost offers four spaces where all of them are separate rooms with the quantity of each room not being too crowded.
The Most Front Room-Close to the Barista Table.
As soon as you pass the entrance, the first room is of course the ordering room or barista table. In this room there is a sitting chair with a long table and high chair facing the wall, or an ordinary sitting chair placed on the right side of the room.
The advantage of sitting in this room is that Kopi Kos provides a socket for visitors who want to add power to their devices.
Living Room with Home Nuances
Maybe, the reason why this kpi is named Kopi Kost b is because of the location and concept of the rooms like in boarding houses, in this second room, only utilizing the hallway that connects to the back room. The owner of the shop, put a long chair with soft cushions and a table. Only enough for three people in this room. On the wall to the right is a shelf filled with used bottles from several merch.
Backroom-with Reading Room Concept
After the other two rooms have a home concept, the third room has a more pleasant concept for me. This room is conceptualized as a personal library. With a base of synthetic grass, the owner only needs to place cushions and a small round table in between.
Visitors can also play with their friends, because Kopi Kost provides Uno cards, Uno stacko, Rubk, or if they are bored, visitors can enjoy coffee while reading a book.
To add to the excitement, Kopi Kost also provides a board, pen, and post-its that visitors can use to write down anything.
That night, my friends and I chose to play stacko and uno cards. so exciting.
My Order Menu And How It Tastes?
My friend recommended me to order Caramel Machiato Latte, so we ordered two glasses of that menu. Sat for me, another for my friend. As for the accompanying snacks, I ordered sausages and chicken nuggets.
I thought the Caramel Macchiato I ordered was delicious. the type of coffee I can go back to because I miss it. the taste of the coffee does not lose its identity even though it is mixed with other ingredients. Ha ha
Prices set by Kost coffee are standard like coffee shops in general.
next time I might come back to this place to try another menu. Usually I'll try Americano. Maybe it could be for another alternative time? Hmm... could be.
